Thanksgiving Time!

Here is Rhonda and I at Grannie's for Thanksgiving. I don't know where you all are finding yourselves for Thanksgiving, but I win the contest. Seriously, of all the places in the world to be on a holiday known for the large amounts of traditional American food eaten, who wouldn't want to be with Paula Glover? Gosh I can't wait to go home 10 pounds heavier. I hope all is going well. Sorry I never post.

Who stole the cookies from the cookie jar... Rhonda stole the cookies from teh cookie jar... Rhonda says "NO!! Cindel says me! Then Karina, then me".

Who remembers Rhonda's famous appearance on my baby video?

The Computer Lab

One of the joys of being an engineering student is the consistent attendance of the computer lab, located in the talmage building. Each day I am in here working on a program for my computer systems class, and each day I am pleasantly surprised to find out how interesting people are.

Example 1: I asked a fellow student what a certain device was used for. His response "A death ray!!!"

Example 2: Right now there is a girl hiccuping every 5 seconds, and its getting a little out of hand.

Example 3: Cute girl walks in. Engineering student who has an internship at PlayStation next summer says "Are you in this class?!" to which she gives him a very serious glare "Yes". He then says "Wow, you don't look like you would be in this class" as he adjusts his glasses.

I was laughing for a long time after that.

It always gets interesting here in the Windows lab of the Talmage building. I will keep you posted, as I'm sure crazy and quirky moments are looming on the horizon.

I don't like being cold.

I can officially see my breath every morning while walking to campus. Ew.

Wednesdays

You know what happens every Wednesday? Well first, country swing dancing at the REC. Holy cow that is fun. But even cooler.... new missionaries arrive. Every Wednesday floods of cars pour in to the MTC lot to drop off the new Elders and Sisters. As I was walking to work today, I realized how exactly two years ago I was one of them. The only thing that is different is time. Time is the only thing that separates us. I have been on this earth for 2 years longer than those new elders and sisters, but in those two years I did things that have changed who I am and who I will become. I had the realization today of how valuable time really is. If in two years I became who I am today, what will I be like in 5? 10? 50? What are you doing with your time?

Family

Today I spent time with my Mom and Grandma. It was probably the most fun and relaxing time I have had all week. If I was a betting man, I would put money on the fact that God gave me some time to be with them, because He knew I would need it. Everything I needed to do this week got done in amazing time, and for a few hours I could just relax with two of the most loving people I know. Here is to family.

Sorry, had to recreate

So my old g-mail account was linked to my Yahoo account, and it was frustrating to sign in and out of 2 accounts, so here is my new blog. grandeperrorojo. You can figure out what that means.

So, same Cliff, same awesome self, different name. Enjoy.

p.s. If you want to take someone to general conference, plan ahead. Like 6 months ahead. Because everybody has plans.
